Frequently asked questions

Every item is printed to order in our UK studio. Production takes 3–5 working days. After dispatch, Royal Mail standard delivery adds 2–3 working days. Order on Monday and you can typically expect your parcel by the following Monday or Tuesday.

Enter your personalisation details in the text box on the product page, just before you add the item to your bag. Include the name or text you'd like printed, your preferred colour if you have one, and any other notes. We'll email you if we need any clarification.

Yes! We love sibling sets. Add each item to your bag separately and include the personalisation details for each one. If you'd like them to match in colour or style, mention this in the personalisation notes. You can also contact us before ordering and we'll help you put a set together.

We recommend ordering at least 2 weeks before the birthday to allow for production (3–5 days) and delivery (2–3 days after dispatch), with a comfortable buffer. If you're cutting it close, contact us and we'll do our best to prioritise your order.

Yes, we can accommodate bulk orders. Contact us at hello@mollybear.uk with the details and we'll provide a quote and timeline. Larger orders may take slightly longer to produce.

We offer several font styles including classic block, script/cursive, playful rounded and mixed case. For colours, we have a range of print colours to match our garments. Mention your preference in the personalisation notes at checkout. If you're unsure, we'll pick a style that suits the item.

We recommend a maximum of 30 characters including spaces. Short names and phrases work best and look cleanest on the garment. Contact us if you're unsure about a longer phrase.

Absolutely. All our printing inks are non-toxic and OEKO-TEX certified — independently tested and confirmed free from harmful substances. They are completely safe for baby and children's skin, including sensitive skin.

The Bear Collection is our signature range — it features our distinctive bear-themed designs, typically with a bear graphic alongside the personalised name. Our other ranges focus on pure name prints, birthday pieces, sibling sets and new baby gifts. Browse all collections in the shop.

Contact us as soon as possible at hello@mollybear.uk. If production hasn't started yet (usually within 24 hours of ordering), we can amend the details. Once printing has begun, we're unable to make changes — so please double-check everything carefully before ordering.

Express delivery is available on request. Contact us before placing your order and we'll do our best to arrange priority production and express dispatch. Additional charges may apply.

We currently dispatch within the UK only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future — follow us on Instagram for updates.

You'll receive an email confirmation when your order is dispatched. This will include any tracking information if available.

If your order hasn't arrived within 10 working days of dispatch, please contact us at hello@mollybear.uk with your order number. We'll investigate with Royal Mail and, if the parcel is lost, arrange a replacement or refund.

At 6 months, most babies fit the 6–9 months size (height 68–74 cm, chest 43–45 cm). However, babies vary enormously — check our size guide for height and chest measurements, which are more reliable than age alone. When in doubt, size up.

Yes! Our full size guide covers newborn through to 5–6 years, with height, chest and waist measurements for every size. Visit our size guide page for the complete chart and measuring instructions.

Always size up when in doubt. Children grow quickly, and a slightly larger garment will be worn for longer. If your child is between sizes based on height vs chest, the height measurement is usually the more reliable guide.

Yes — our personalised items are machine washable. For best results, wash inside out at 40°C on a gentle cycle. This protects the printed surface and keeps the personalisation looking its best for longer.

We recommend against tumble drying as the heat can affect the print over time. Hang to dry or dry flat for best results.

Do not iron directly on the printed area. Turn the garment inside out before ironing, or iron around the print only. High heat directly on the print will damage it.

If there is any print defect, error or quality issue on our part, we will replace the item or give you a full refund — no questions asked. Email hello@mollybear.uk with your order number and a photo within 14 days of receiving your order.

Unfortunately not — personalised items are made specifically for you and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they are faulty. This is standard practice for personalised goods under UK consumer law. Please check sizing carefully before ordering.

Yes! If your order is a gift, mention it in the personalisation notes or drop us an email after ordering and we'll include gift wrapping. It makes the perfect present for a baby shower, birthday or new arrival.

Yes — just include the message in the personalisation notes at checkout, or email us separately. We'll include a handwritten gift note with the parcel.
